March -May 2020

So as you can see we did it! Things are moving - albeit slowly - we must remember this allotment had been left for some years, so obviously it gave the weed world plenty of time to get fully established. But this hasn’t deterred us from chipping away and ensuring the weeds are aware we’re here now so they can simply disappear (if only lol)

So happy to have primroses pop up - they must have been there before the budliah took over that space. And now all the foliage has been cut away it’s always lovely to see our neighbouring fan

September 2019

We warmly welcome Kessingland to our growing family of allotments. A Place To Be 3. All in the space of 11 months. And all because Women are asking us to set projects up in their area/s.

You can see from the pictures that we certainly are a long way off actually being able to grow anything, so the first task is to clear the land. Are you up to the challenge?? Whilst it will no doubt be hard going for a while, we’ll certainly ensure you have a great workout - even if you want to just come along to cheer us on - it will be great to see you.

If you have any old (but useable) tools/equipment you’d like to donate then please do get in touch and we’ll gladly take them off your hands.

Here goes . . . . . . . . Pics below were taken late September - when we first took the allotment on- and how much we’ve done to date - October. Hopefully we’ll get it cleared enough before the winter weather sets in.
